Metropolitan Connections | Access to O'Hare | Midwest Travel | Routes Improved

Cities and communities throughout the Midwest recognize that access to international markets through O'Hare is essential to their economic futures. With CrossRail Chicago, a mix of local, express and high-speeds trains would give hundreds of cities suburbs more convenient and affordable access to international flights.

Then, 152 daily slots being used for small feeder planes from cities within 200 miles could be reallocated to intercontinental flights, increasing capacity by 38,000 seats per year.

Additionally, O'Hare would become the Suburban station for Amtrak and high-speed rail.
